The same way the road blocks were in place for grealish, akanji and Ake, you elevate your game by being hungry; and that is essentially where drop offs occur without competition…. He will be afforded time, and if gets the notion, it will help improve us and the standards we’ve been accustomed too, but also be a catalyst for others to fight back…

Signings like this are merely fundamental to the model, sprinkled with superb development at the foundation!

IMO being perfectly honest his ceiling is higher than either that of Ake or Akanji. Much better than Ake offensively while being about as good defensively and better than Akanji defensively and a bit offensively also. In time he may be the best of the lot. There's a reason he's valued at the numbers being negotiated...just sayin'.
