Joules was always a well known Brewery from the Stoke/Midlands area and in fact a pub by the same name is still going strong in Nantwich, but in name only.

It's a Market Drayton based brewery with pubs across Shropshire, Staffordshire & Cheshire. Very good beer it is too!

Only Joules I have heard of and far more important than a frock shop. The ladies can always go to Boundary Mill but a decent pint of ale is hard to find.

Definitely above average quality. I’m a bit shocked it’s gone given it has - I imagine - a fairly affluent customer base who’d you’d think aren’t immediately troubled by rising prices. Perhaps their costs (rent and power) have sunk them??

Store lease/rent prices have been astronomical over the past few years which have sunken other retailers. Common theme is having too many stores against low footfall.

Their target market of middle aged men / women might be too isolated. Most other brands are modernising to grab market share of the younger generation who are obsessed with fast fashion and endorsements/collabs.
