IMO City want to get the promise of some cash in to fund other purchases
Yep,its a very good deal,as would be expected from our negotiating team. Some reporting saying it's a 2.1m loan fee followed by 8.5m guaranteed in 2016 plus a bonus of 2m if they qualify for the Champions League. Plus they appear to be paying his wages for the duration of the loan. All considered not too shabby considering his career has stalled.Possible £12.6m is about right considering our coaches couldn't trust him to stay on the pitch.
Exactly,he is on 90k a week,it rules out many. The same problem with Dzeko. It's the wages that get us. We pay high wages and players aren't prepared to take a drop so the buying club has to match our wages and they can't afford to without millions coming off the transfer fee.
