Either that or like Dzeko ask us to pay him directly the difference - for the entire length of his contract - as a loyalty bonus. I'll be glad when both are gone and we can move on. Oh to be a footballer now it's like winning the lottery time after time.

And of course it's obvious we could have got a lot more for him by hanging on til August, as people are climbing over themselves to sign him, & wtf if we don't sell him, we just pay his wages for another year whilst not registering him to play, then he can walk out for free, as we're not playing him. No problem.

I don't know more recently they did ok on the deals moving Rodwell and Garcia on. Plus the purported deal for Dzeko is looking better by the day. In the past I would agree with you players like Jo and Robinho but that was a necessary step. It's always going to be a problem when we buy players, but look at the fees Barca and Real pay - this is the company we now keep and lesser clubs know how much we have at our disposal.

True. .. in fact when we bought Sterling (great signing by the way) we didn't just take the bin dippers to the cleaners. ... we bought them the whole fooking laundrette and enough washing powder to rinse out the dirty scummy scousers mouths enough to make them sound intelligent. OK even we haven't got that much money but it was a valid point up until then!!!!

How much below 44 mil, would you recon Sterling should sell for then, baring in mind Luke Shaw, a fullback, went for 30 mil a year earlier ?
 
Where's all this talk of a 2 year loan originated from?

Fuck me I wouldn't be happy with that even with an obligation to buy.

If there is an obligation why don't they just pay upfront the daft sods? Sick of dealing with Italian clubs, they are a bunch of clowns.

That being said if we sign De Bruyne next week we'll all have forgotten about this.
