What do you lot think of Lampard as a number two for pep similar to arteta? By all accounts Pep thinks highly of Lampard's ability as a coach. It may be a good opportunity for Lampard to learn and rehabilitate himself.

Lampard has done a tremendous job as head manager at his previous clubs. They have been in contention to win the lea... oh, wait... maybe not. Lampard's sides have been abject failures.

Still - abject failure as manager in other sides - why not welcome him as an assistant. What could possibly go wrong!?!?!

I agree that Lampard maybe wouldn't be a good assistant manager (who knows though, has he ever done that role?) but I do have to ask, how long have you been blue mooning over the pond? Have you ever heard the name's Brian Kidd or Malcolm Allison at any point? Both could be possibly described as an "abject failure as manager" but were exceptional in the assistant role.
Maybe you'd prefer to advocate for AI to be the next assistant along with the referee, VAR operative and tea lady. ;)

Agree, love how he has fixed opponents having counter attacks from our own throw ins where we seem to lose the ball after a few seconds to now doing foul throw ins to give the throw in to the opponent instead :)-
