Some scouting that by pep finding this hidden gem and recommending him as Fernandinho replacement.
He had a tour of the CFA and the rags I believe.Didn't we have links with signing him before he headed off to Germany?
That's good to hear I guess if we sign him he will know the right stop to get off when he comes from town on the Metrolink! He had a tour of the CFA and the rags I believe.
I know what you mean but remember Fernandinho was not a Pep signing, I think he would be a player more in line with the style of DM the great man wants to utilise as we progress forward as a team.People saying he'd be a replacement for Fern. Surely, he'd be more like Ilkay? He wouldn't strike me as a DM.
He's like Fern before he joined City, box to box midfielder who can be moulded to a DM for city imo.People saying he'd be a replacement for Fern. Surely, he'd be more like Ilkay? He wouldn't strike me as a DM.
0-10-0 formation :)You know pep loves a midfielder
Lovely goal too, another string to his bow.Controlling the game against Besiktas.
And that's the reason why he's linked with us and other big clubs he gets up and down the pitch brilliantly, he just grabbed a lovely assist for Dortmund's 2nd too! for a player of his age he plays like an experienced head mature beyond his years... would be good enough for us even if we signed him now in my view starting off as a squad player just whether we'd be put off by their demands.
If we go for him he could learn the dark arts from Fernandinho and offer a shit ton of energy in the middle of the park, we saw what he's capable of last season first hand I just hope the rags don't get him more than anything.
Slap in a £150m offer for him and Haaland next summer if we're interested and it could be enough (doubt it) ya never know, maybe his recent contract extension has a Haaland type release clause though it might be a way of sweetening any deals for the young talents they get.
Fernandinho wasn't ever a defensive midfielder till after the age of 25... He was exclusively a high energy attacking midfielder close in style to what Bellingham is now I'd say, players at Bellingham's age can be whatever you want to turn them into and 40 years ago he'd be sweeper for Dortmund in the Sammer mould, the national team stupidly plays with 2 defensive midfielders he should already be one of them behind Foden and whoever else they wanna play.Hes not a defensive mid though
In my opinion dahoud would be more suitable replacement for fern.
Haaland and Bellingham - just tell Dortmund to name their price for the pair!
