Which isn't ideal if you are a club shelling out £100m+. Hopefully either Gundo or Bernie will stay along with Bellingham's signing.

His legs been strapped up for at least the last three games. I'd say it's perfectly reasonable to assume he's not totally fit.

Southgate really doesn't strike me as the type of manager to play someone that isn't completely fit. You do realise that strapping can be used simply as extra support?

Feels like United's obvious marquee signing if they get new owners. I'd love him though, think he's what Pogba was sold to be for so long and he definitely has the potential to be equal to Yaya at his peak.
He’ll be some player if he gets anywhere near yaya’s level, if he does fair play to him the early “potential” shows a good player hopefully pep can turn him into a world class player :)

He limped off the pitch in the last game. Why do you think it needs extra support?

It's pretty common for players to play through injury and I think you know that.

I've seen him wearing that before though. I'm not saying he hasn't had a niggle. Some players play with niggles all the time and it can obviously stop them from producing their best. But Southgate just doesn't strike me as someone who will play anybody that's only 80%. He would opt for Gallagher or someone else.

Gerrard piling on the charm offensive, shame you need a translator to understand what the hell he’s trying to say

You know, if we don't get Bellingham — and we have to envisage it — we could do worse than take a long, hard look at Maddison. In fact, I'm sure it's already being done.
And I am not placing Maddison on the same level as Bellingham, obviously. But he's a very handy midfielder. And Pep nearly always improves players, if they've got the potential to learn.

Maddison would be a decent alternative but again despite the contract issues Leicester still has some say in the matter.
