I recall thinking the same too… but then it was the 84th minute when he came on, so maybe we should cut him a bit of slack before reaching that conclusion?

Are you joking? Maybe he wasn’t up to speed cos he came on about 5 mins from time? He may or may not be a great player but don’t judge him on that. He looked more than decent at our place last season over the full 90

This is nowhere near the type of player we should be looking at, not good enough.

Both Liverpool and United have a much more serious need for quality midfielders with the right profile, so it might be hard to go up against them, given he would become a “main man” at either club.

Also, he is a great young player, but the numbers being talked about feel a little silly. However, I thought (and still think!) the exact same thing about Grealish.

Always funny to see ANY possible negative connotation about almost anyone get rolled in on with the word “hate.”

Grealish was not 100m player is not 100m and will never be 100m player. His output will always fall short. And it's not wrong to say amount spent on him could have been saved or utilised elsewhere. We wait till this season ends and let's if he steps up significantly or not

Yet to be determined what his “maximum output” is and thus whether he will fall short. Never been prolific, so it’s more a question of team work production.

Agreed. I’m just glad he has someone in the team with an even brighter spotlight on him now, so he can perform without the level of weight he carried last year.
