If there was a release clause, Liverpool would have activated it in the summer.
Think the fact they are pulling their pants down trying to appeal to Bellingham, suggests any notion of £60m seems fanciful.

To be fair, it could be that the release clause kicks in at a certain time. Like Haaland's did.
The confidence I have stems from the fact that Haaland was wanted by every club in the world, near-enough every top club could pay that release clause yet he was sewn up by February 2022. Months before the circus could've started.
If we can do that for (one of) the most sought-after player in world football, we can do it for Bellingham too.
