Jude Bellingham

I saw one of your fans with a Bellingham 22 shirt on when you played ManUre! Looks like the Mersey won't be the only river of salty water running through Liverpool if JB fails to arrive! \0/

Why've they done this to themselves?
Hahaaa. I don't know mate...I saw it too. I'm very happy living in Melbourne I know that!

It's a bit like how you can't choose your parents...I was a Liverpool fan way before I understood the fanbase I had been assigned.

Now you've created a song for him? Why've they done this to themselves?

PS: If he arrives at the Etihad, can we use the song if it's any good?
You not a Beatles fan mate? Pretty sure you will have heard it already and if you get him and sing this song it would literally be the piss boiling event of the century. I'm not exaggerating.

Get our way with what?

We've access to £600bn if needed, but couldn't spend £150m of it even if we wanted to, without having to sell first. UEFA/G14 & the Hateful Eight of the Premier League saw to that with FFP.

FFP was originally supposed to be about debt, but when our owner bought the club that was changed to stopping owner investment. Stop the investment. Stop City.

However as you say we're an extremely well run club, but look at the collective debt of all the clubs who tried to strangle City at birth? Funny isn't it? Our debt (WITHOUT OWNER INVESTMENT since 2013/14) is zero, whilst those trying to stop us are bankrupting themselves doing so...

As for Bellingham, your lot have done what they've traditionally done for years. They started briefing the press about Bellingham 2 years ago. Your players have been in his ear on international duty & your fans have been losing their shit in expectation of Bellingham's arrival.

One problem though... Bellingham! Did any of you think to ask the player if he wanted to play for Liverpool? You've all just assumed because you want him to become Stevie G 2.0 so badly, that'd be enough to make it happen. Well it's looking like it isn't which ain't City's fault.

So when you say "We (City) always seem to get our way", again how so? With transfers?

Have a look at our list of "Nailed on" transfers that failed to materialise.

Robin Van Persie
De Rossi
Hazard
Sanchez
Sanchez again
Messi
Isco
Pogba
Fred
Maguire
Sanchez AGAIN!
Laporté
Koulibaly
Messi again
Frenkie De Jong
Kane
Cucurella

That's just off the top of my head. In all cases we set our budget limits & were outbid. No problem, we just move onto our next target on the list.

Instead of Fred, we got Rodri

Instead of Maguire, we got Laporté

And so on... So again, how do City always seem to get their way, especially if you look past Grealish for £100m & realise the next highest fee we've ever paid was £72m for Dias & that's including add ons?
You forgot the obvious missed signing in Van Dyke when Liverpool outbid us massively so we moved on.

Nah, I've not heard your Bellingham song, but I'm sure if he ever rocks up at the Etihad, we'll find a humane way to repurpose it. Waste not, want not & all that! :-)

It will be a variant on this. The Kop have been planning singing the chorus of this for the Chosen One's arrival for years.

He would cost around 25/30m less! Brighton would want 100m rather have Bellingham for 130m
Would prefer Bellingham , but also like McCallister and will be disappointed to see him land somewhere else in the summer. Again , if his cost climbs to silly numbers would expect us to move on if we are even interested. Think he will go for £70m to £80m as if offer came in think he would demand move but agree Brighton won't sell cheap.

All in all , think Bellingham is a done deal to city.

i think we will go for both mate to be honest as the money for jude was there anyway and the sale of the likes of Doyle, Mcatee, THB along with others will pay for Mac Allister.

That would be the dream, but we would have to pay around 300m for the trio of Bellingham, Gvardiol, and Mac Allister. I hope we do it, but I just don't think we will.

i dont think we will do Gvardiol though imo, Kim at Napoli has a 40m release clause as well?

Whether Dortmund sell Bellingham this summer might depend how important he is to their team and whether they see his value rising much if he stays with them?

Currently Dortmund seem on the cusp of a historic league win, he is their 19 year old captain, they might want to keep him longer?

You would imagine there's likely to be more rich PL owners splashing cash on rising stars going forward? Dortmund will want to maximise their return from his sale but also keep success on the field to challenge for trophies.
He will move this summer for the simple reason he wants to. Dortmund want 125 mill, they won't get more than that next season, also factor in a year less on his contract.

i think it will be gvardiol personally.

Kim at napoli is right footed and plays cb.... Gvardiol is left footed and can play cb/lb which is what we are wanting for this new system.

and with laporte being the player that leaves it wont be another right footer.

Also yes gvardiol is more expensive hes also 5 years younger and has a higher ceiling in my opinion

we must go deep for Jude Bellingham and re-build the midfield, Gundogan coming to an end and Phillips is not good enough in my book, So pairing Bellingham and Rodri is the ideal partnership, City will recoup some money this summer in sales and 3 players are nailed on to leave, Laporte Cancelo Walker, So there could be around £100million and that's before Phillips or anybody else leaves,

Forget what we could win or lose this season, The prize money for going long in the Champions League and Premier League FA Cup will also be made available, We need to get Bellingham and then add a couple of wingbacks and then next season we will be still the team to beat,

You have to improve and add to the squad at the right time with quality, and with Newcastle now added to the top 6 next season it will be harder and harder to keep our place as top dogs,

All possible mate, bloody nice to be talking about these caliber of players though eh? ;-)
