Adulation, he’s having another great purple patch.

I think I might appreciate him more if he came across as less arrogant.

There are far too many fans of all clubs who think he’s an overhyped bellend for there not to be something in this.
I think he’s an excellent player but he wants to hog the limelight far too often.
He’s not at all humble
I seen him have many a stinker for club and country and the ultimate “who else” comment was a massive dig at his team mates.
From a personal note his dig at city was the icing on the cake for us city fans so can royally get to fuck.

People still seem overly vexed by him. I'm still unmoved by him one way or the other. He's doing well for Madrid again after a shaky start to the season so good on him. Young lad living the dream and doing very well where he is.
