Jude Bellingham

First half, the commentator on TNT started on this ridiculous line - "Zinedine Zidane won the Champions League with Real Madrid as a player in 2002 and as a manager won it three times. It's like Jude Bellingham was born to wear the Real Madrid number 5 shirt."

I have no idea why he came to this conclusion. I almost fell off the couch. He topped it soon after though when he stated that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were class outfits, universally liked and family run clubs.

When he was substituted, the commentator on TalkSport could only bring himself to say that he didn't have a bad game. It was as though he wasn't allowed to criticise him in any way. Stuart Pearce agreed.

From the mail.

Jude Bellingham – 5.5

"English’s finest young footballer was nowhere near as domineering as we know he can be. Substituted after a frustrating 75 minutes for him."

Wait until they go for Phil at the Euros. Bellingham will be off limits.

I don’t honestly know what we did to Stuart Pearce. I really liked the guy as a player and wanted him to do well as a manager for us. But over the last decade or so he couldn’t make it more obvious. He bloody well can’t stand us. Talking about the title race the other day he couldn’t wait to talk about City having a little blip and another twist in the race. Psycho ****. I burned your autobiography by the way it was shit.

Honestly if he win the Balon d'or it's a fucking joke.

Rodri is currently the best player in the world and on an amazing unbeaten run easily deserves over this overrated crank
I couldn't give two shits about the balloon dor - football is a team sport - but it would be funny, even if just to prove what a clown show of a prize it is.

If Southgate does pick Foden, it will inevitably be on the wing.
Bellingham will get the central attacking #10 role with Rice & probably Mainoo behind him.
This should give Bellingham a licence to do what he wants and go where he desires.
But, don't think he is experienced or intelligent enough to fulfill that role. He also is a hothead.
Phil has played many, many more high profile games in this role (including winning the U-17's World Cup).
Yet, we know who the Media wants and expect to be selected ?

Phil will be the scapegoat for the euros failure.Whilst Bellingham gets off Scot free.

Convinced he'll get the Beckham treatment next season.

I thought he did rather well for Real Madrid last night. Basically acted as their spearhead, with the two wingers interchanging. Did considerable running and closing down of Bayern's defenders and positioned himself intelligently to block/slow the Bavarians' passing routes. Didn't offer as much in an attacking sense last night, but I presume that wasn't Ancelotti's intention. Looking down the line, however, he's going to prove a real handful with Vini Jr. and Mbappe, which is another good reason for us to sign someone like Guimaraes; you have to do everything possible to limit their attacking avenues.

I am glad all the hype is on Bellingham in the summer. It will free up the pressure on Phil to wreak havoc like Sterling did in the 2020 Euros when nobody expected it.

In regards to the Ballon d'Or, it would be an absolute liberty if he wins it this year. Great player, but come on, there have been better players this season.

Without Vinny Junior they would have been knocked out by either Leipzig or us, and he saved the bacon yesterday.

Careful with trying to give him any semblance of credit for his performance here lol I tried that in the last game, didn't go down well!

He's definitely got some of the snidey traits that will see him fit right in at Madrid...but he's clearly very talented as well. And will have a significant career no matter how many ballon d'ors he wins. That being said, this year he should be nowhere near it. There's a fella in the same team thats dragging his side thru the biggest games at this end of the season and thats vinicius.

There are two Madrid players who are more deserving of a Ballon D'or than Bellingham, if I'm being honest.

Vini & Rodrygo are better than him.

Bellingham is definitely overhyped by us and the English media.

Must admit I considered those 2 Brazilian lads as the dangermen when we drew them in the last round. Caused us loads of problems as well especially first leg.

Can’t stand this kid, he has received way too much adoration to early and it’s made him an egomaniac. Gives me Homelander off The Boys vibes
