Not necessarily. They may have decided we’re just playing them off against Napoli and don’t want to play that game. I don’t know this but I do know negotiations can take strange twists.If Sevilla was really insisting on his release clause we wouldn't have even bothered trying to sign him.

Piffle. Not always a starter but very much a key player. Few of our squad are automatic starters.We sell cast offs. Sane wasn't cast off but he was not key player for us either. Squad player, rightly or wrongly.
