I have absolutely zero interest in finance so the thought of us potentially gaining long term profit on a young player we've signed is something which I can't really describe as "liking". It's just a business doing business things and I can't think of anything more boring.

If he's with us for the beginning of next season and gets a couple of games then I'll be excited to see how he gets on.

Fair enough not being interested in the details of finance, but you can't be uninterested in it's importance to the team.

Agree. If we're paying £20m and we have confidence his ability, get him now. Ludicrous to be loaning him back out for six months when there is a striker shaped hole in the squad.

Because he'd be going from the boy scouts to the S.A.S in one move. He needs experience in a better league first.
