There were loads who messed up. Rico had probably his worst game for us but he had little support defensively and zero passing options when he did receive it. Was a calamitous second half, and Rico struggled. Unlike you I’m not convinced dropping a lad in from the Brazilian league, facing Hakimi/Dembele would have fared much better in the same circumstances tonight.
It certainly wasn't all on Rico atall! It's alot more layered than that. Was just making a specific point.

Our soft arse midfield has a lot to answer for and Erling hold up play was fukin awful tonite tho shown sign of improvement recently. When you have Rico and Bernardo as last line of defence in a team not fully functioning . . . Going to get beat m8

Yes it is. People put it down to Rodri’s absence but even with him the problems would exist, but to a lesser extent.

Mentally and physically we do not seem there, lost the ability to retain the ball, previously a strong point, to enable us to see games out.

Rico is one of the supporting cast. Sadly when the big hitters are going through a bad patch it just amplifies the failings of the lesser experienced/talented players.

Hopefully the reboot this Jan and in the summer goes well and we go again.

Till the season went belly up Rico was probably our best player, like everyone else he is struggling now but at least he is one of the few that is available for every game

has this moved forward at all? Seems it was heading somewhere and now quiet

I think we’ll treat this kid like Arsenal did Saliba anyway. Buy him, loan him out for 18 months and bring him back when he’s played a few seasons and bulked up.

He’s only played about 13 professional football matches, I can’t believe he’s ready for us.

Good reason to follow Lens over the next years. Their manager Will Still is also a pretty exciting prospect in the managerial world

Bit weird that the first post the club officially does on him his confirming a loan away.

Something similiar a few years back with Geronimo Rulli if I remember correctly, which was a bit puzzling considering we were later scrambling for a goalkeeper that could play with his feet that summer
