JUMA BAH OFFICIAL STATEMENT
I am writing this statement with great regret in light of the infamy and false accusations that the directors of Real Valladolid have levelled against me. These are not the farewell words I would have liked to say, but unfortunately I have no other choice.
Real Valladolid is an institution that I respect and to which I will always be grateful.
However, given the behaviour of its leaders. I wish to state, clearly and unequivocally, that my departure from the Club has been carried out in accordance with my right to terminate the contract in accordance with current legislation, both in relation to Spanish labour regulations and with respect to FIFA regulations and the abundant jurisprudence of the TAD on the matter. And always, in accordance with the clauses agreed in the contract with Real Valladolid.
Indeed, I have decided to pay my release clause and, subsequently, face a new challenge in my professional career that allows me to evolve and advance both sportingly and financially. This release clause was decided, established and included in the contract by the directors of Real Valladolid. I repeat, this clause, which was also not minimally proportional to the salary I was receiving or to the investment made by the Club regarding the acquisition of my rights, is the one that the Club directors decided, and the one that I accepted without any discussion.
I would also like to stress that the current Real Valladolid directors asked my agent to find a team that would acquire my rights before the opening of this transfer window, seeking the greatest possible benefit from my sale. A legitimate request in my opinion. As legitimate as a player wanting to obtain a better contract and advance professionally.
I am aware that several clubs have offered Real Valladolid amounts greater than my release clause, which is obviously unnecessary, and I have been fully aware of and have agreed to them given my absolute gratitude to the Institution. However, after rejecting all these offers, an opportunity has presented itself to me that I have not wanted to pass up. To do so, I have not stopped fulfilling my contract, but quite the opposite. I have limited myself to scrupulously complying with the compensation demands that the Club's directors unilaterally imposed in the contract.
It is also not true that I, directly or through my agents, refused to sign a new license that would have meant an increase in the termination clause. This is radically false, so I publicly ask the directors of Real Valladolid to provide some evidence to prove my alleged refusal. On the contrary, before the current transfer window opened, I was offered a contractual improvement that, after having been accepted de facto by me and my agents, never materialized due to the lack of interest of the Club itself, which never mentioned it again.
I am very sorry that my departure from this great Club has taken place in such a bitter way, because this great Institution and its fans mean a lot to me. Therefore, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for all the affection shown to me during this short but intense stay, as well as for the opportunity that has been given to me to demonstrate my qualities.
I am leaving calmly and with the full conviction that I have not done anything illegal, irregular or even ethically incorrect. I trust that I have cleared up the insinuations that have been so unfairly reported. I have given my all on the field and I believe that I have returned to the Club an economic return that multiplies by many the investment made.
Despite all the noise of these days, I will always carry Real Valladolid and its fans in my heart. Go Pucela!

I don't think Valladolid have a case in the slightest they dillied and dallied on the contract and it all seems very apparent with the statement, he's called their bluff it's on them to prove otherwise but either way it's small change even if they did wanna challenge this.
They should really save some face plenty of Africans support him, they see it more as them exploiting the lad so they should be careful.
