Junior Kroupi

We have got to chase the players who might become elite, we already have possibly Donnaruma, Khusanov, Cherki, Doku and Haaland, maybe O' Reilly also, I would say that Marmoush & Reijnders were never in with a chance of reaching this level, so I think a gamble on an excellent young player like Kroupi at his age is worth it, remember we missed out on Neves, also in the Mancini era we gambled on Aguero, Silva and Yaya, this is the trio that took us to a level above the others, we need to get another couple of elite players to match PSG, but I think we are closer than anyone else`

Silva, Aguero and Yaya were not really gambles. Aguero and Silva were the 2 best players in Spain not yet at Real or Barca and Yaya was a cog in Barcas mis who lost his place to a rising Busquet.

I mean, we didnf have all the data that we have now, but on the little we had, they were some of the surest bets on paper.

That said, i get your point about Kroupi. He does have that edge, even though I honestly don't know where he'd play. I get feelings of another Alvarez, or Marmoush all over again. Good player, bad fit. Granted he seems to have a higher ceiling. But the problem of how to integrate him is the same.

Not a true 10, nor a true winger. And he isn't an imposing #9 either. Nor that we need one.

More of a Chicharito-esque, Alvarez, type. Can he play RW and dominate? Don't know that he can. Suppose he can play as a goal scoring 10 . Push Cherki to RW to compete with Semenyo, and have Kroupi and Foden duke it out as the goal scoring 10? Maybe? You'd have to move Reijnders and Marmoush.

The fit doesn't seem perfect. But sometimes talent trumps fit. All you have to do is look at Erling :)

Reijnders and Marmoush need moving on, no doubt about that

Doesn’t matter either way as he will not cone to sit on bench . Age old problem who will want to play second fiddle to the big man .

or maybe Foden goes to the RW ?

Maresca's formation will be key. What he played at Chelsea and Leicester may be different to what he plays here. I'm guessing that we will have known he was coming for a while and who we have signed could well be with this in mind.
From what ive heard from both their fanbase, its very very unlikely he'll change formation.... hes very much Amorim coded in he plays a certain formation and isn’t that flexible

Savinho has absolutely no end product though. He’s pointless as an attacking player because he doesn’t score or assist.
This just isn’t true though is it

9 G/A in his debut prem season last year (off 21 starts)
19 G/A in La Liga for Girona

You can say his end product isnt good enough, but saying he can't score or assist is just nonsense and I say that as someone who wants Savinho sold this summer

I do want him sold, because his end product is nowhere near good enough.

As has Marmoush....

I'd think that if he's doing that for Bournemouth, he could do it for us at a minimum. You are right though, there's no guarantees.
Marmoush isn’t a flop because of his ability. He just has no position in the team because of Haaland. Say Haaland was out for two months and we had to play Marmoush & Semenyo up top, they’d both bag 15 goals and assists minimum. He’s just not a pocket player

But he also isn't great at replacing Haaland. Up front he's offside all the time and no good at holding the ball up. He's just a bad fit.

That said if the offside rule changes to the 'daylight' version, he may have a chance.

It is going to be a lot of money for potential but he 13 goals in his first full season in the Premier League isn't something to be ignored.
