just been laid off!!!!

Bad news mate. It happened to me 3 days before Christmas but fortunately I've been taken back on for a few more weeks to help with a backlog but soon I'll be back in the same boat as yourself.

I know the feeling ...... it happened to me many bluemoons ago.

But never mind , look upon it as a chance to start out on somethin' new ......... put your feet up for today , it's freezing outside ...... and have a beer!

ive just left a job, to work at this new place 4 months ago, i was promised allsorts of training and assured there would be work.
now he turns round and says there is no work, im pissed right off.
 
I know the feeling, happened to me this time last year, try to keep positive and you'll get a job soon enough. Just don't let the b@stards keep you down.

I am 7 months out of work and it is shit. Cant even get onto any courses which is the pain in the arse the backlog is fucked up fireing away cvs get the odd reply but none so far this year I know it is only 12 days gone but it is getting harder by the day something will have to change. So keep the head up is what I say and take anything you get be it a course or job straight away.
