Just been studying the league table...

We are capable to win all our games but which City will turn up, the City that turned up Burnley? Or the City that turned up at home to Everton?

Realisticly I stand by what is said in my OP.

i reckon we can afford 2 draws and one defeat, but we must have a win and draw against either villa and spurs. 3 wins along with that and we'll take 4th

one game at a time thou, starting with birmingham!!!

Not looked at the fixtures, totals etc in depth but heard a Spud fan on the radio before saying they could afford to lose two games and still finish ahead of Liverpool? As I see it that must be the same case as us then surely? That said I see only Spuds being a threat after Liverpools draw at Birmingham. Spuds to play Arsenal next and L'pool seem to still be falling apart every game.

I think we have more chance of beating Arsenal than Utd.

Our advantage is that we play Spurs. Must win.

We have a good record against the 'Top 4' I dont fear playing Man Utd especailly at home, And we beat Arsenal twice this season already so our players will have a good mentality going into that game, We have Villa and Tottenham at home so it's definetly ours to throw away.

if we get 10 points I think that will be enough.

Liverpool won't win all 5. Can't see them beating Chelsea, and West Ham and Hull will be scrapping like hell - not the easy run-in most people are saying. Big result them not winning today.

Spurs will do well to get a max of 3 points against rags, Chelsea and Arsenal and despite our recent record with them don't think we'll lose against them.

Got a sneaking feeling that Villa will end up being our main challengers.

Maximum points achievable are currently as follows:

Us - 77
Spurs - 76
Villa - 72
Liverpool - 70

Now obviously us, Spurs and Villa can't all get maximum points as we have to play those two. I can't see Spurs getting anything at the Swamp so that means they can only get 73, even if they beat us, Arsenal & Chelsea.

So the ideal scenario for us is
1) Liverpool don't beat Chelsea;
2) Spurs lose at OT;
3) Spurs don't win both of their games against Arsenal & Chelsea;
4) We beat Spurs & Villa.

So in that case Liverpool could get no more than 68, Spurs no more than 68 and Villa no more than 69. We've got 65 in that scenario with 4 games to play so need two wins or a win and two draws from the other 4 games (Brum, rags, Arsenal & West Ham).

Easily achievable in my honest opinion.
