Just been studying the league table...

Fulham and West Ham at home, Burnley and Hull away is hardly the most difficult.

I expect them to get wins in all, and just hope they don't turn in a fluke performance against Chelsea.

Not out of it by a long shot.

Expect them to get two wins max out of the first four (Hammers and Burnley being their best chances), and nothing from Chelsea.

Maximum 8 points for me for them. Probably less.

Think they could even go into meltdown now that they are more than likely out of it.

I can see them slipping up against Hull, but that's about it.

Have to wait and see... I know everyone was saying they would win today earlier...

They are awful and there are clearly issues behind the scenes. Witness Gerrard's reaction to Torres substition in the other thread.

How people can think there is any chance of them winning their last five games is beyond me.

Lol rawk is in meltdown, this was a classic quote....

Re: 5 wins and a draw, can we still make 4th?

"Here's my attempt for kneejerker of he day" -

"even if citeh spuds & villa didn't get a single pt for the rest of the season the one thing I'm confident about is that we'd still find a way to fuck it up!!"

"How's that??"

lmao, this really is our's to lose now bluemooner's :)

I'm not writing Villa, Liverpool or Spurs off yet.

I think we all know a win against Birmingham will go a long way to helping us secure 3 points this Sunday.

I like Bobby's attitude of taking each game at a time

Come on City

I didn't think we could do it until this weekend but now I do and that worries me even more as we've all been let down so many times.

In the words of Morrisey 'please, please let me get what I want this time...'

as log as we dont give any of our near rivals any points we should be fine. if we beat villa and spurs we will definitel get in the top 4. draws wouldnt be bad results if we win the easier games like brum and westham. i think we will get 9-10 points. with a bit of luck we will get 12 points.

Agree with this. Should we beat Villa and Spurs I'm relatively sure we would get 4th spot.

Saying that, a win against Birmingham will leave me very confident.
