I think we all accept that the forum is a good place to debate, and talk about things we don't think are good enough, but the slide bewteen negativity and positivity (bit like being a football fan) is really magnified on here.

What's made myself and probably the OP angry (and caused my drunken outbursts Saturday) is this attitude has crept into the home and away match going following..not the normal moaning about City being s**t that we've been used to for years, but people who turn up and are outraged that we're not turning teams over left right and centre.

I honestly think the money has affected some fans in a way I didn't think possible.

totally agree mate... I'm getting fed up of the spoilt brat supporters who can't wait to criticise. really fed up!

This is a fans forum to express opinions.

Some opinions I don't accept, I just get on with it.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I don't like MH, he is out of his depth. His comments and mannerisms in my opinion demonstrate this.

If I thought, that give him a season, to finish between 5th and 8th and next season he would improve the squad, his formations and tactics, his man management, etc, to finish in the top 4, then I would be happy.
I just don't think he is upto it.
With all the resources he has, top 5 is a minimum.

He still hasn't engendered a winning mentality in our team even though he has bought players who are used to winning.

Spot on M24 ! Some fans value their opinion more than they do the success of the team. Those people totally misunderstand the meaning of the word 'support'

You sense they would get more satisfaction from successfully hounding Hughes out of a job than they would City actually winning something.

It's a self defeating prophecy, how about thinking that we've had a mediocre run of results but 4 out of 6 have beenaway and we can STILL quite easily make top 4 ?

It's exactly these type of "supporters" that the media love to manipulate. After all its the 'media' not City themseles that have made top 4 the target whereas the club has stated the target will continue to be top 6 and guess what ? We are bang on this target.

I expect this is a go at the Hughes outers - everyone is entitled to an opinion it doesn't mean they don't get fully behind the team and manager when they need to. This is a Forum board last time i checked

im very happy with the development at our club but like some on here im very dissapointed in the team and manager for the form we have shown in recent games, does that make me a bad supporter?

You seem to be missng the point here , he isnt saying that anybody is a bad supporter for voicing their opinion , thats what football is all about , what he is saying is that some people can do nothing but criticise all the time , and just lately its becoming ridiculous .........If people think a month of iffy results is the end of the world then they really do need to get a grip ..

On another note the OP isnt a nob or a tit of the highest order .............pal.
