Just had a terrible thought about the Derby...

Bitter though it might sound...United are not playing well, and while their run in from here looks much more inviting for them, I still see them dropping points somewhere outside of the derby.

That Arsenal game for us looks daunting...

this is almost as bad as when City went to Stoke needing to win in 98 to avoid the drop into the 3rd.My heads going mental with it!! And the 6-1 was 10 in goal difference, not 5.

I have had a worse thought than that. They could win the fucking thing at ours if results go the way they are needed for it to happen
Aha - someone has actually woken up and seen the dread.................put it this way - thats more likely than the other way around! Nightmare scenario.

City will win every one of our remaining home games.

Now if we can only transport that confidence on our travels, your nightmares can still become wet dreams.

United will be absolutely destroyed at our place, regardless of whether they have won it before then, or do go on to win the title.

Look at it another way, we destroy them again in front of the watching world and plenty observers will belittle any United title.

Beating United again will mean nothing to me if they win the League. The most hollow of Derby victories in history. For the first time this season, I have United as favourites for the title. I feel sick.

Simply responding to the actual thread. United will not win it at our stadium.

Looking at our remaining fixtures and theirs, I reckon there's a bloody good chance they will if our current malaise away from home continues.

That frightens the shit out of me too. It's an ongoing nightmare I've had for a few years, that they'll win it at our place. But to beat us to second would be hell in a stadium.

Cheers for that gents, I'm of to buy a length of rope just in case!!

Fucking hell mate i have been thinking this all season as we have never really pulled away and dropped stupid points at shit teams. I cant get it out of my head and THATS what scares me

This is how i'm feeling at the moment hgblue

On Sunday it was like watching 11 rabbits in headlights and it's not a good sign when we've got 10 to play and need to dig in.

I'm with Tolmie that our home run will continue till the end of the season, it's just Stoke, Arsenal, Norwich and Newcastle that scare the shit out of me.

I know one thing, I'm not comfortable with the goal difference, this is the rags we're talking about, if they needed say a 6 goal win on the last day I wouldn't put it past them to get it, especially if we conceded it'd narrow it down even quicker.
