Just had a terrible thought about the Derby...

When I did the BBC score predicter (several weeks ago) ... I entered my honest prediction for each game and when I looked at the final table ...

- City and Utd finished on the same points
- and the same goal difference
- but Utd had scored one more goal and were Champions.

At the time, I thought "No, that's not going to happen, I've been too pessimistic" ... but now I'm wondering ...

we can afford a draw in one of our games (not rags) and win the remaining ones and we will win the title

Thats what I have done on that predictor thing on the BBc website, got us drawing at Arsenal and winning the rest. Win the league on Goal difference.

It's probably more likely that we will both drop points other than the derby tbh, they all look easy fixtures for them on paper but I'd be suprised if they didn't drop a bollock somewhere in those other 9 games. Got a sneaky feeling about Blackburn maybe holding them to a 0-0.

Not one of their results will mean dick unless we start to improve our away form though.

Any loss for Un*ted in the next 10 will be a GREAT WELCOME. I will celebrate those games like cup finals seeing their heads drop.

Does anyone know what Un*ted's form was after the 6-1 beating as it could mean if we batter them on derby day it may throw their form off completely. I hope we really throw everything at them on derby day!

I am well stressed. Derby day is my birthday! In a way I'm hoping its decided one way or another by then. If we did beat them to win it or put ourselves in a good position to win it then it would be a great present. If we lose it would be the worst birthday ever!

My birthdays seem to be pretty eventful as far as my City support goes - last year on the same day I got up at a stupid time in the morning and queued up for my 1st ever FA cup final tickets. Hope I'm feeling the same at 10pm this year as I was at about 9am last year.

my worst birthday was when I was 13 and going to Wembley to watch City lose to Wolves in the League Cup Final.
