i work at the offices at british telecom. i've phoned someone about half an hour ago and this bloke went ballistic. i got dianne (a girl in my office) to record him. i'm gonna report the shitbag to the law.

All due respect what are you doing phoning people in their own homes at that time of night? I know its not your fault and your only doing your job (heard that somewhere before) but some people do not wish to be disturbed.

I had an identical call last night and told the guy to F*ck off. I hate BT they are a bunch of crooks and I would do without a phone before I ever return to them. I told them this politely on no less than three previous occasions and asked them to stop phoning me. They still phone me...... they get waht they deserve, though I do have a modicom of sympathy for the staff that are forced to do this.

I bet they get more phones put down on them and/or abuse than they do sales...

As it happens I have a much better deal from Orange than BT can even begin to offer....

£18a month, unlimited internet acces, unlimited calls to all UK Landlines, Free calls to Europe and N America, Australia and many other countries and to all Orange Mobile Phones....so unless BT can beat that deal they can get stuffed. Well they can get stuffed anyway never want to do business with them again.
