You had a forest?

If you're going to get lost getting lost in your own forest is the way to go.

Haha. Wisconsin has its advantages. My parents only owned 80acres but my uncle had over 1000 acres. It was great when I was older, you could really lose yourself. Unfortunately you could actually lose yourself when you were young. Frightful.

And I just want to say this is the best (and worst) part of Bluemoon. I'm welling up riding the train back home. Truly emotional stories that bring memories flooding back.

This story truly breaks your heart :-(

I have a 6 yr old springer ....

He's my best mate... loads of life in him, but I dread the day..

It's as bad as losing a family member... he was 13 and called Chester, I took this just before the vets arrived. I couldn't watch and let my parents deal with it. Dogs are the most amazing thing in the world.

i am so so sorry to hear this, he looked a cracker.

rip chester.

I feel your pain Love City. I did the same thing last week with my 14 year old dog.

You have to remember that you did the best thing for the dog and have given it the best life it could have had.

This is Slippy and she was the unofficial official bluemoon mascot for the last 6 or 7 years.
She bit me 3 times, saved me from being robbed or getting a kicking on numerous occasions and ran like the wind on her 3 legs.

She was also fierce in the tackle and could save penalties better than Joe.
