The players know what they have to do. There are no second chances after this.

Newcastle will want it of course and we would expect that.

But lets not forget.......

We have the best centerbacks in the league. We have the best keeper in the league, We have a midfield player who has won a Champions League winners medal and who comes good in the big games when he needs to.

We have a Spanish International who creates space and goals. We have a French international who is on form.

We have Mr dependable Gareth Barry.

We have warrior Zabaleta and arguably player of the month last month Clichy.

We have Tevez.....We have Aguero....Enough said.

We are not the City of old. We are the best team in the premier league, can score goals for fun on our day and have worked our fucking arses off to have this opportunity.

We have 5 days rest, they have 3.

They need to win, we need to win.

shame oldcackstle have bottled it.

This could have been a decent game,
expect 2 early goals and oldshnizzle, to fold..

Great post. We look awesome when we play with pace and the urgency we showed against the rag scummers, and if we replicate that we will batter them.
 
Tonight's consolation is that Chelsea will have their minds on Bayern, might help to explain their performance. Defensively we're 10x the team Chelsea are, but like everyone else we'll need to keep an eye on Cisse.

We should be able to treat it like a cup final, and just play to our potential and we should get the win. Far more nervous about this than the united game though!

I wouldn't envy QPR if we beat Newcastle, think they'll be in for a end of season hiding.

Thanks for your comments. Dont think that we're arrogant....we're far from it. However, I cant bring myself to wish you luck, apart from in your final game.
 
Just watching the game and have several observations-

1. Chelsea dont look that arsed. Key men are rested for weekend and they've gone 4-5-1 at home.

2. Tiote is their main man. He's been very good tonight, but to be fair is only up against Jon 'never done anythung memorable whatsoever' Obi Mikel. Yaya will have to dominate him and hold the midfield. He's also just had a proper slap round the chops from Mikel (unintentional) and if he doesnt miss our game he'll at the very least have a belting headache.

3. Cisse is lethal. We cannot afford to give him any space at all. Not even an inch. Not even once. He's had one kick and scored a brilliant goal from it.

4. Their full backs are poor and dont like being run at or fluied movement. Tevez and co must exploit this.
 
Tiote has just been stretchered off, look's like he might be out of the game. I don't wanna wish an injury on any player but he is one of their top performers...
