OK some may poopoo this idea but if any City fan was available Monday morning to help clear the concourse and the surrounding area:

1, would you volunteer to help ?

2, Would the club embrace the idea ?

I would definitely help - just wanna see the team play and continue a winning run

no need, they have cleared the pathway and road around the stadium itself. i will pop down later and get some pics.

i'll post them on here.

I've just been outside and the cars didn't even freeze over last night and some of the snow's gone, happy days :o)

showed the ground on sky news earlier and the surrounding area was clear...they predicted heavy snow down the east of britain last night and they got no snow ...so with a bit of luck.

Im getting twitchy, it better had go ahead. I need my football fix.

I hear ya, I've seen more A League games than Premier League games this weekend and that's not good. . . . (I'm Australian obviously) The only positive of the game being postponed is that more City players would be available.

Just started to snow in Failsworth although very light at the moment, looking at forecasts we should only get light snow so fingers crossed

yeah lol, but the quality of the a-league is piss poor. I'd rather watch blue square premier than that pile of shat.

What I want to happen- dreadfully heavy snow, 6" or more on the ground, come 8am tomorrow morning. So I get the day off work. Then a miracle thaw from about midday onwards, so the roads are safe to travel on, and the game goes ahead.

What will actually happen, because I know my luck too well- There'll be 2" of snow or less, not enough to prevent me from getting to work, and then the game will be postponed anyway. :(

What are the car parks like around the stadium? Usually park at the Manchester College on Ashton Old Road but I imagine that will still be covered in snow. Is the big car back at the junction between Alan Turing Way and Ashton Old Road alright?

even with a light dusting of snow it shouldn't be a problem as the temperatures are staying reasonable.

The main east car park opposite Asda will not be used for the game so expect gridlock, set off early ! and expect to arrive home late. here endeth the stewards traffic reports ;)

Not a car driver, so haven't a clue about parking in Mcr, but it's not that cold at the moment. Presumably commercial car parks will be OK?

I'm not a million miles away from CoMs myself and the snow on the trees and shrubs outside is deffo melting....

2 miles down the road from the COMS and in my opinion the game will deffo go ahead.

Forecast locally is at worst light snow showers and for the first time in ages the temperature is above freezing during the day.
