Like I've said before. Our country is a snippet of the contribution to climate change.

The UK stopping oil is akin to throwing a bucket of water on your house when the flames are already coming out of the roof!

If you stumbled across a person about to be murdered and had a realistic chance of stopping it. Would you try and stop it as you’d maybe consider it the right thing to do?

Or think, fuck him. There’s hundreds of thousands of people getting murdered somewhere in the world every year, so what difference is it going to make if this one guy lives or dies?

Are you implying that a few hippies wearing orange vests blocking traffic have a realistic chance of stopping a climate emergency?

Not really. But they could in theory help make a tiny improvement to it through their actions.

My point anyway is, is nothing worth fighting for that you care about, even if you can’t make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things?

It’s a bit of a misnomer as we basically offset a huge amount of our carbon footprint to places like China who have a polluting industry that is sold back to us. All those oil based parts and tatt don’t just make themselves.

We are all complicit and unless we are prepared to change then there’s nobody else to blame.
