I’d just let a few police dogs loose on them. Problem solved.
But what about their right to block a public highway, cause breaches of the peace, and be total arseholes?

One day one of these protesters is going to get a well deserved kick in and maybe the police should maybe help the general public and move them on and not arrest the employed trying to get to work

If the 10 people in the road is a you describe a minor offence it is therefore an offence , I’d happily arrest them but the police do absolutely nothing and allow the offence to continue , maybe not arrest them but move them and threaten arrest if they don’t comply10 people lying in the road is a minor offence and the higher ups in the Police and CPS aren't interested in charging them so why would the Police on the beat be interested in arresting them?
However assaulting somebody in plain sight... Easy pickings unfortunately. If he had shouted that he was protesting against their protest then he might of stood a chance.
Do you support the right to protest? If the 10 people in the road is a you describe a minor offence it is therefore an offence , I’d happily arrest them but the police do absolutely nothing and allow the offence to continue , maybe not arrest them but move them and threaten arrest if they don’t comply
Let's hope you're not not stuck in a queue behind these moron's when you need to get somewhere urgently.Enjoy your arrest dick head :-)
Aim their protest at the people who make the decisions they disagree with and not the general public trying to do an honest days workDo you support the right to protest?
Do you support the right to protest as long as it doesn’t affect you?
They’re trying to raise awareness as well though. The debate has been done to death.Aim their protest at the people who make the decisions they disagree with and not the general public trying to do an honest days work
No it's not. To protest is to show your disapproval of something. It has nothing do with disrupting people's lives who want to go about their daily business. They’re trying to raise awareness as well though. The debate has been done to death.
They‘ll carry on because they believe we are in a crisis.
The police may or may not intervene, depending on the circumstance.
Protest is supposed to disrupt.
Strikes/protests are certainly designed to disrupt. No it's not. To protest is to show your disapproval of something. It has nothing do with disrupting people's lives who want to go about their daily business.
