ADUG had only been on the scene for a matter of months when we tried to sign him, and nobody really understood what they were about. he's right, sometimes the investment does dry up. cragnotti at lazio, walker at blackburn, and more recently the downturn in chelsea's spending prove him right to some extent. in three or four years time things will look very different.

This is largely down to Abromovich and his burgeoning responsibilities in Russia.
