Gundogan is right in that we are playing good football, but the problem is that it’s 2-3 seconds slower than it used to be, so any team worth its salt can keep us at bay and penetrate us when the chances inevitably come.

He's either brilliant or poor. He didn't have much to do tonight and didn't do anything to suggest he should be in goal for the Derby. He needs to remember that every keeper in the league now plays with their feet and they can save shots as well.The poor performance of Ederson? Doku - pointed at a player he should have closed down before the first goal. That kind of shit is unforgivable.
Dias - looked good then fucked up for the 2nd.
The rest I agree with.
The team aren't defending well enough so you can point at several for either goal. Gundo not bothering to track his man....again....leaving a gaping hole in the box. Walker not stopping the ball coming back in. Gvardiol not winning the battle. Ederson not saving it.
We are a car crash at the moment.
Peps not going to stop believing that possession based football will change our fortunes. But with the players we have at the moment it won't fix it. He needs to change the system and personnel. Or sadly he will walk as he will blame himself.
On the upside, the sooner we get out of these cup competitions the better.
