We are supposed to have a great academy yet he persists with Walker at RB and the failed midfield experiment and leaves the youngsters, who at least would give us more energy on the bench, and its a joke that we have no striker from the academy for the bench.
Bobb is to come back but the worrying thing is Rodri aside, that midfield and attack are our best players and not a single goal threat between them

We haven't been great all season, we started pretty poor and its now become whatever the hell we call this.

Clappers said it was a mere blip though.

At times we are though, as Gundo said, it's when we give the ball away we're seemingly punished every time.

Add to that, we need a someone to score goals. Teams are shutting down Erling and we just lack finishing.

I think a lot of people were there in the late 90s mate, I certainly was.

But that means absolutely nothing to the current situation.

Back then we had fuck all money, a team cobbled together with some young players and a load of journeymen, and although we still rightly regarded ourselves as a big club, expectations were suitably low.

Currently we have a squad full of top quality players and I believe we’re in the top 2 or 3 globally in terms of revenue and wages. We have the best facilities, the best resources, and want for nothing. Expectations are clearly going to be different.

Turning out performances like that week after week, lacking any ambition or cohesion, discipline or desire, raises serious questions and we seem incapable of reversing the trend. What happened 30 years ago isn’t terribly relevant.

Another absolute shitshow with a lot of players hiding. This will sadly carry on for the remainder of the season as well, and Pep has said when he feels he no longer has the support of this squad he will walk. The players are letting him down badly at present and he needs to start cracking the whip with several of them

The right question matey

Why when you have key players missing, do you still play the same old setup with players, if you are not good enough to replace the key players that missing in that setup why you still play it,

Tighten up the team in defence and pack the midfield play a false 9 and drop Haaland,
The inverted fullback in Lewis and Gvardiol centre back is a joke and Gundogan is not a holding midfield player.

Look we have over 20 odd players in the EDS and youth setup so bring them in, Can it be any worse than it is right now, If we lose with young players trying their hardest i would take it and understand ? But players that are happy to lose and smile and walk off after a little wave to the fans is a joke

Football is not video game, you can't just expect the players that have been playing in certain ways for more than 6 years suddenly playing defense counter attacking playing style and being adept at it within weeks.

This season is now about digging in and surviving somehow. We will probably be somewhere around 8th come January, but it’s totally doable to come back from there and still get top 4.

Decent players in Jan will be a problem, first acquiring them and then the old "it takes a season to adapt to Peps ways" routine.
