Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Few need to get a grip we've had success beyond my wildest dreams, now we're struggling just occasionally you have to accept losing, this team will be be back hopefully starting Sunday.
Pep could lose every game for the rest of the season I’d still want him here but you can still call him out for what’s happening. It’s a shambles at the minute.

I was a basketball coach for many years and one of the things we practiced every session was the fast break. It was the best way to beat a packed defence - get the ball down the court before the defence can set. Football is no different. We tend to take to long to get the ball up the field on any breakdown. Always the slow build up and square ball.
Exactly.
We win the ball in our own half and take 5 fucking minutes to get it anywhere near their central defenders. So predictable.
We have to get the ball to Haaland much much quicker, give him opportunities to score before they get back into shape.

And there is a massive hole where Rodri used to be. Surely our world class academy should've brought someone through by now besides Lewis and Phil.

Or did we sell em'all..

So pissed off with Pep and his tactics right now. Is he a one trick pony ?

PS.
Apologies Pep, I'll calm down when the nurse has given me my meds.

The team was always going to have a drop off at some point.

Our team just won 4 titles in a row. That's never been done before.

The players have run themselves into the ground achieving it.

As well as being knackered, injuries have decimated us.

We've lost the best player in the world. Tell me a team that this wouldn't affect?

Pep hasn't fucked up this season at all. It's astonishing that anyone would use such language about the best manager we've ever had.

So yes, you're flapping.

We can't win every single year.

It's a shame that instead of supporting this team, given what they have done for us, many on here have turned on them instead.
You make some very good points

However we are one win in 10 and I would like to see a manager of this quality perhaps look to improve on that

Most goals conceded by us are through the same things and that concerns me

Because Pep is a genius and the quality of players brought in before 2020 saw us through.

Name the top quality players we have signed since the summer of 2020 from this list.

Torres
Ake
Dias
Carson
Grealish
Alvarez
Haaland
Ortega
Phillips
Gomez
Akanji
Kovacic
Gvardiol
Doku
Nunes
Savinho
Gundogan

Other than Haaland (a release clause) and Dias. Where is the top quality? We've signed mostly decent squad players
This is a solid list. What recruitment do you want? Running a circus with all stars?

What about all those trophies we won playing this way? It’s on the players not the system.
