Just booked 7 of us, were going Manchester to Dublin Weds night, have a night out there.
Then flying Dublin to Milan the morning of the game, land at 10am.

Anyone looked at trains from Milan to Turin yet? Thinking if there is no booze in turin, were going to try and arrive about half 5.
There is a train home at 21.50 or 22.50, reckon we should be fine for thr 21.50 unless they keep us in

The trains run quite regularly but not that late so you probably wont be able to get one back after the game, they don't cost a lot and take about an hour.
Where have you found these trains that are an hour? all i can see is 2 hours ish

I've found some that take 1h23m to Torino Porta Susa station.

I've found 2 trains back to milan after the game, one leaves at 21.50 and the other 22.50.
Take about an hour and a half, looking at about 30 notes return.

Check on raileuropes website

How far is the train station in Milan from Bergamo airport anyone?
There's a coach service between Bergamo airport and Milano Centrale that takes about an hour.

The faster trains are the InterCity expresses that don't run late at night but there are stopping trains back to Milan that run at 21-50 and 22-50, taking just under 2 hours. Also you'll pay more on the expresses.

I flew to Santander via Milan - whatever you do don`t get a Taxi - It was 100 euros one way. Coach was 7 euros. I got the train which was 10 euros. Train takes 40 mins. Milan was very expensive - beware.

-- Sun Oct 24, 2010 1:36 pm --

Just read the Airport post properly ... I flew into Milan Malpensa Airport NOT Bergamo ... Sorry about that. If anyone is flying into Malpensa the above post is correct.
