Juventus

I must admit, I am glad I haven't wasted my money on this one. Juve Youth v City Youth in front of 2,500 people (2,400 from City) in a city where you can't have a good drink.

Schalke and Poznan will live in the memory as proper European away days. This will have all the atmosphere and sense of occasion of a pre-season friendly against a Swedish Fourth Division outfit.

Oh, and you won't see past the half way line because of fog! :-)

hell what a miserable bas*rd you are !!!

Not really. I'm not going. I'm just laughing at some of my acquaintances who I warned three months ago that this would turn out to be a non-event, as they passed up the opportunity to go to a beautiful city like Salzburg or to a guaranteed proper away occasion at Poznan so they could attend a semi-friendly with a few hundred stragglers in an absolute shit hole of a city! :)

I must admit, i'm quite glad you're not going too. Miserable bugger.

Turin at Christmas is an incredible place. It's great to go to a europa game with no pressures, have some of the lesser players giving it a go (any chance we will see Michael Johnson back for this one?).

Anyone know how many city fans are going? There will be three of us going on Wednesday midday (from gatwick) and coming back Friday evening. Cant' wait

Anyone in turin on the wed? Or just me and my mate then as you all seem to be in milan!

6 of us flying from manchester changing at at gatwick, picking up an exiled blue on the way , leave gatwick at 14.50.

I'm driving down on the 16th and staying in Turin overnight. Drive home on Friday when the hangover has cleared. I shall be bringing a couple of bottles of wine for pre/post match refreshments.

Flyin out to milan thursday morning. Can anyone provide an idiot proof guide to getting from milan to turin by train. Is it cheaper to book in advance, train prices etc. Cheers in advance for any help.
