I think he or Aouar would be excellent additions to the squad. Aouar is a traditional centre mid who effectively would replace David Silva - less about getting the glory himself but weaving the plays together and keeping defences guessing at whats next. Havertz is more attacking, more a goal threat. Getting Havertz is just like having a tall bit more developed Phil - tactically versatile and wants to create and score directly. I think Aouar's probably the more likely & more suitable purchase right now, but if anyone can mould Havertz into the CM we'd need him to be, and let Phil go out wide at times and get the goals, or vice versa its Pep.

Foden is a gem whose development City really need to prioritise. Havertz would improve any team in the long run, that's obvious but not many teams have a genuine talent like Foden just waiting to be unleashed.

Edit: In other words, keep your filthy hands away from Havertz please :)

Well. He is left-footed like Bernardo, Foden and Mahrez. His best position is being a striker or coming from the right wing - that’s what they say in Germany. In our system his best position would be the position of Kevin. For the wings he is not fast enough and we already got 4

The only way we could sign both Aouar and Havertz and it not totally impact Foden would be if another midfielder were to leave.

He's incredibly versatile. He would mesh really well with KDB and your other star players. I also envision him meshing really well with Ziyech, Werner, Kovacic etc. Havertz is as close to generational talent as you'll see.

Brings age of squad down. Havertz has same pace as mahrez so no change there but him and Kdb would assist like mad interchanging. Ppl have laughed at my recommending m.thuram before but this kid under the right coach could be unreal in my opinion.

It is a big outlay but we have an unbalanced squad now. Ageing spine walker nico ferna kun d.silva, cancelo apparently wants out, gundogan & zinchenko are average in positions they're filling and not good enough in preferred position, players not hitting potential/regressing/consistency stones mendy mahrez. Youth players almost ready but not yet there as in doyle, thb, palmer, etc.
Hopefully foden, braaf & garcia are ready foden being the most.

I think if we have a chance to move Mahrez this summer (PSG are interested but would be a complicated deal) I think we should pay over 100 for this boy.

He has Mbappe level potential, and can play anywhere all over the pitch,

I could even see us use him as a false 9
