Kai Havertz

He's not a striker, he's basically what Glen Hoddle and other delusional Spurs fans think Dele Alli is.

Kaka-esque.
I haven't seen enough of him to know, do you think he could potentially play the eight in that case?

In our system, he can play as an 8 like Kevin or David, or play as a false 9 striker.

It's hard to say what his BEST position is, for example, at Leverkusen he plays RF in a 343, which is great because he is left-footed.

Think of him like a tall-Messi (in terms of skill set). That's why I added false 9 above.

We won't buy him, he's not on Ezzy's list!

I dont know.

I think Pep would be in a situation like he was with Thomas Müller at Bayern - cant play him as a striker, cant play him on the wing and doesnt seem immediately cut out for the 8 position.

Might be one of those players who is so talented you just buy him and make it work, start putting out some crazy formations.

He said in a recent interview that he feels his best position is no.8 even though he has been playing further forward he wants to be in midfield.

which is what we do anyway.

I think he or Aouar would be excellent additions to the squad. Aouar is a traditional centre mid who effectively would replace David Silva - less about getting the glory himself but weaving the plays together and keeping defences guessing at whats next. Havertz is more attacking, more a goal threat. Getting Havertz is just like having a tall bit more developed Phil - tactically versatile and wants to create and score directly. I think Aouar's probably the more likely & more suitable purchase right now, but if anyone can mould Havertz into the CM we'd need him to be, and let Phil go out wide at times and get the goals, or vice versa its Pep.
