Kai Havertz

There is absolutely no way Leroy Sané will start the Community Sheild.

I put an edit into my post before seeing your reply but yes, I'm not always sure about how truthful or ITK this guy is. He built up some credit with Chelsea fans after the Werner deal though.

I still think Bernardo as a false 9 can work (not a true striker, false 9 specifically), but not in our system.

Messi False 9 at Barca for example only works (first obviously because its Messi) but also because the wingers played inverted or inside, with fullbacks providing width. False 9 requires you to burden the wingers with more goals, with the advantage of the striker essentially acting as a 10.

We require our wingers to play mostly wide though, so it doesn't work because then we lack a goal threat up front.

That being said, we have Aguero and Jesus, so false 9 is also not necessary for us anyways.
Jesus has played on the left for us already and can do what David Villa used to. Sterling can also play more of an inside forward. Maybe only not Aguero, but may be thinking of the long run. We also have fullbacks like Mendy who's mostly always wide and Cancelo. Havertz would work better than Bernardo as a false 9. He has more height and can act more of a typical striker like headed goals when required like if a cross from Kev came in. I'm just unsure if he'd be better for us than Ferran Torres.

Very good point, we can definitely make full use of a false 9 systems, we have the fullbacks and forwards.

Pep has had these attacking fullbacks for a while and hasn't fully used them, I'd like to see it.

Its interesting as without Sane we've moved almost full time to inside forwards/inverted wingers - Sterling cutting in from the left and shooting on his right and vice versa for Bernardo/Mahrez. With Sane and Sterling together, it'd be back to that classic passing across goal for a tap in at the opposing post we saw so much in 17/18 especially - its why in my eyes Sane's replacement has to be a pacy left footer to really allow for that option again. We can sorta replicate with Phil but whenever we've had Bernardo or Mahrez wide left they've always looked uncomfortable

What is up with Sane anyway? Why is he so interested in leaving City? Wonderful player.

A lazy coward with a family to think about.
Apparently his girlfriend and the Mother of his child doesn't want to leave.. But Sane is a mothers boy and listens to her when She says She wants him to come back to Germany...

Sounds like an episode of Eastenders. How do people know private information like this?
