Kai Havertz

IF we are looking at Havertz. Are we looking at him as a potential striker or as a Sane replacement? Torres is more of a conventional winger than Havertz. If that's what Pep is looking for at for our right wing.

If we are serious about pursuing a striker. We should be looking at Havertz since i don't see any good strikers on the market. I don't rate Martinez, and Haaland might be too soon. Only just signed for Dortmund.
In my view, Havertz is a future Kevin Debryune. He may and can start off on the Wing but eventually will be best pulling the strings next to Foden in the future when Kevin is past his prime.

But Kevin will be here at least 3-4 years. We can't just sign Havertz and let him wait out those years. We would have to fit him somewhere now. Which is why we might not even be interested in him. Where would he play with Kevin still around?

Havertz can play wing or Striker or mid Next to Kev over the next 2 season, then take over slowly.

In my mind I am drawing a line from Yaya to Kev to Havertz ( if we get him). None of them are similar, but their impact at their peak is unreal. And Havertz has that funny quality the other 2 had. (Uniqueness).

Yep. I hope we sign him. But i haven't seen anything indicating that we will. If anything, with the reports of Ferran Torres potentially arriving. Havertz wouldn't fit in our wing. With Torres, Sterling and Mahrez as the options. While in midfield we have De Bruyne, Foden, Bernardo, Rodri, Gundogan and Ferna(?).

Which leaves CF as the only option.....

I really think he's the next big thing. Even if it is not clear where he will fit into our squad we must first sign him and only then think how to integrate him. Just imagine a combination of Havertz with Torres, Foden, Sterling ,Bernardo and maybe Haaland (next year) with the quality and experience of the best second player in the world- KDB.

Doubt we would buy Havertz and Torres, we definately won't buy Havertz, Torres and Haaland.

Just imagine a combination of the Corr sisters,Little Mix the sugababes and myself. Its more realistic than all of the above playing with us.

I always fear Bayern will come for him like Sane, like if he joins a club not named Bayern, he will be out of German NT then Bayern will enter tell him he will have his spot and sign him
