many reasons that make sense logical sense:
1) 0 links to the player in the media
2) I dont think Pep likes him
3) City are not going to spend 110m on Sancho who they sold only 2 years ago when there are way more pressing needs in the squad.
4) We have Sterling, Bernardo and Mahrez all who are absolutely world class at the moment on the wing. So spending 110m here is daft.
5) adding to point 4 youre better off buying sanes replacement as a young project winger example: Torres
6) Were most likely buying said Torres who weve had a crap load of links to
7) Due to the position not being a key need spending 20-40m euros on a winger in Torres is perfect
In saying all that id rather City go out and drop that kind of money on a position we WILL or DO need. Example: CB (2020 need) and ST (2021 need). Sancho is a buy the club can easily easily live without. If we had no holes in the squad and you need an excuse to spend money you go and get sancho because you have the luxury to do so. We do not.
So you put all these points together and put yourself in the shoes of hierarchy of the club who obviously have thought all these points ive listed and MORE. Would you still go after Sancho?
I would! He's world class, potential to get even better, exciting, home grown and a media/commercial darling.
But then if I was running the club we'd probably end up financially like Portsmouth in about three years! I'd want Havertz, Koulibaly and Alaba in too.
