Kai Havertz

No but still would like us to make a statement signing that would blow other premier league teams out the bidding .

Majority of Players still choose rags , dippers or Chelsea over us.

Havertz is the real deal
The biggest statement we could possibly make was winning a treble, followed by a quadruple and who knows what this season still has to hold for us. The second biggest statement we could possibly make was made on Monday at 9.32am. The third biggest statement will be Pep, De Bruyne and Sterling all signing new improved deals.

Who gives a fuck about a player who currently doesn't play for us, no one and I include Messi can make statements like that.

At the end of the day, if a players heart lies elsewhere, we can throw as much money as we like at someone, but it doesn't mean we get them

I'd like him too, but trust the people that put the squad together over the last few years to decide how best to spend what we can afford to put together the best squad for the money and not splurge the whole lot trying to out bid other teams on individuals. If that includes Havertz , great, if not we'll find an alternative as we have in the past.
Spot on

If you bring in Sancho you have to turn out either Bernardo, Sterling or Mahrez. No point in having 4 full time world class wingers.

I think when we had Sane and bought Mahrez the idea was Bernardo to midfield. But that still has not happened yet. Sane also starting falling out.

I dont see in what world we go after Sancho no matter how much fans might want the player. Theres just no logical sense to it
You just answered yourself. Bernardo continued to play out wide because Sané was injured all season.

Wrong! We freely will back out of bidding wars on purpose. This is the right move. Set your price and only strike if it's under that price.

It's risky but a better long-term move. Meaning you'd have to find great players In good contractual situations. There are top clubs like Juve and Dortmund who don't even participate in this "the most expensive players" bidding wars and yet they are relatively successful.

I want Havertz. Think he is worthy of a City record fee. But we simply should not get into a bidding war.

Those are for losers. Coz all players are still a risk. So you have to mitigate that risk by not overpaying.

You want all your players to be of value or a bargain. Never overpriced.

So far in the Pep era Mendy, Bravo and John Stones have been the only overpriced buys. Mendy has a slight chance of being of value. Everyone else has been of value or a bargain.

I like that!

Not sure why some even got their hopes up about this. This lad costs more than £70m so it rules City out automatically.

There are others. Nolito, Cancelo, Otamendi borderline. Rodri jury out, Danilo not great.
