Yeah, I forgot about him. My view is generally that attacking players are generally worth the risk. Not big on paying for defensive players. Especially fullbacks. Love Walker to death but his price still bothers me. Don't even like thinking of Mendy, Danilo or Cancelo's costs. :(

Always think price needs to be set against what they do on the pitch and how often they play. In that regard, Walker has been extraordinary.

Year 1: 3,842 mins
Year 2: 4,301 mins
Year 3: 3,030 mins

Seemed a steep price at the time, but we could have paid more for two players to give us less service and less consistency. A question to ponder would be whether signing Danilo and Cancelo actually helped Walker maintain his performance, or whether he would have achieved that with only, for example, Maffeo as competition.

Back on thread, if Havertz can indeed cover a number of forward positions as suggested by a number of our more knowledeable OPs , I would hope that we are going to be trying to bring him in.
