Think this one is a lock to get done. We’ve got Pep for another year and possibly 1-2 more if we get the right signings in. Highly doubt we risk all of that for a difference of 5-10m in valuation for our biggest priority. United and Pool already paid silly money for a CB. Reckon it’s time we did as well.
It's not silly money if they have the impact VVD has had on the dippers defence.

Yes we all would, it doesn’t change the fact that’s it’s a downside to potentially our biggest ever transfer fee. So apart from his age, the huge transfer fee, him getting more injuries, dealing with Napoli, and the ACN every 2 years, this is the perfect signingI'd hope that Laporte, Ake and Stones/another would be able to cope for 3-6 weeks
