He is a good defender. Just a bit traditional which is why he wouldn't quite cut it at a top club, ball playing centre halves are the go to now.

To be fair that backline and especially Ben Mee/Tarkowski have been the reason they've done well in Prem despite being one of them dinosaur old school style sides. Their demand is fair imo
