So he’s had a mediocre season. Everyone knows what kind of defender this is. Just look at him against Liverpool last year. The quality doesn’t just disappear over night. He is still a beast of a defender and he would be incredible for us. The only challenge is trying to get the fee down to an acceptable level, but I have no doubt City are after him and will try to bring him in.

Anyone can raise their game now and again so basing it on one game is a nonsense,if he has had a bad season that is the red flag

My thought exactly. Didn’t Malcolm Allison once say that when he went to see Colin Bell play just before we signed him, Colin had a mare and this played in to our hands as nobody else put a bid in for him. Look at the mistakes that Varane made the other night, he didn’t look good enough for the Gordon Legue, but we know he is a good player. KK getting his pocket picked by Messi is nothing new, he’s done that to numerous centre halves over the years, remember what he did to Boteng a few years ago in the Champs League semi at the Nou Camp. Sometimes players fuck up it happens all I know is we need a dominant centre back and there aren’t that many out there.

Malcolm said that to put the dozens of scouts in Bury's directors box off the scent and give City time to raise some cash, we were in one of our skint periods!

Spot on.

How many times didn’t Messi turn Sergio Ramos inside out when they met in el Clasico? And Ramos is one of the best centrebacks in the last decade, and still top three in the world probably.

Yeah Big Malc went around telling everyone how shite he was. The moral of the story is that you can not go off one mistake. For fuck sake we thought Mangala was Bobby Moore after his debut.

Richards also mentioned Mangala for good reason, Koulibaly has not had a good SEASON, Ray who is on you tube said Laporte had a bad game vs Tottenham players have bad games would you buy Laporte based on that, well the answer is yes, Laporte has a future. personally i do not think Koulibaly played badly vs Barca but his fee should match his future

The Sun, Express, Daily Mail I believe are the least reliable transfer sites. Fabrizio Romano, The Telegraph, BBC Sport, Guardian Sport are the most reliable. If they say we’ve let go of this transfer then we probably have.

If City really want KK they will work it out. This is Napolis last chance to get decent money from him. I still believe it’s on. I thought I read a few days ago City and Napoli have a scheduled meeting this week.

Not going to do a deal with Napoli though are we? They can't be trusted.
Rúben Dias (Benfica/Portugal) and Çaglar. Söyüncü (Leicester City/Turkey) are the better options IMO. 6 years younger and in my opionion Rúben is an amazing player.
