Kalidou Koulibaly

You can’t possibly be serious if you believe the club would enter the next season with Stones, Otamendi and Fernandinho as CBs - AGAIN. Then I’m sorry you must have recently become of fan of this club. They will buy another centre back, no matter what. That’s how bad it is what Stones and Otamendi. I thought every City-fan knew this.
I'm sorry if the facts upset your feelings but we've seen the proof on multiple occasions that we will only buy what we consider to be the right player at the right price. I've already given you 4 examples, what more do you want.

Not the slighest. It’s like saying CR7 in his prime coming to City wouldn’t be better than Mahrez until we see him kick the ball for us. Of course he would be better. Nathan Aké would never have been brought in if Pep didn’t think he was an obvious upgrade to Stones and Otamendi.

Very weird argument. It’s not that hard to realize talent before the player actually put on the jersey.
Anyone that mentions those two letters and that number together is clearly a prick and on the wind up.

So pick any player of your choosing if my choice upset you. I tried to illustrate a point here.

And why am I prick? You can’t stand the fact that Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers over the last 15 years?

He's piled on a bit of weight in the last 15 years since his retirement but I can't disagree he's still probably one of the greatest footballers around, even at 43.

Almost as funny as suggesting Stones, Otamendi and Fernandinho will still be our CB-options next season. Keep it up.

For your argument to stand up would mean every signing we have made would have been successful.

Do you believe that to be the case?

We don't use CR7 on here

I love it when people moan about fees as if a lower fee helps them in any way whilst they sit in the semi-detached in Droylsden scratching their balls.

The only thing the fans should care about is if they a) improve us and b) are classed as affordable by the men charged with looking at the balance sheet and income forecasts.
Overpriced players reduce our opportunity to get better players later. As they reduce the money available and can be harder to move if they don't work out.

Fans can't tell if a player will improve us. Thus, is best to hedge the risk. There is nothing illogical about that stand.

Anyway, that understanding remains the same whether you live in a bungalow, Semi-detached, or a Villa
He's a very good player and would more than likely improve us but not to the extent that we should pay anything resembling the money De Laurentiis seemingly wants. At tops £40-45m for a player of his age, especially a defender.
Ioh like he said, hedge the risk :)

seen other videos where he loses it right where we don't want to lose it and his passing out is not great, not sure he is press resistant to the level we need

That's not very encouraging for a 29yo that costs at least 65m. It reminded me of this article
