We have needs all over the park and smashing our transfer record for KK, which is where this looks like going, a 29 yr old with no PL experience, strikes me as having potentially very high costs.

This is the thing, every business in the world accepts a certain amount of risk because the cost of rectifying a problem is too expensive (e.g. Apple, Microsoft, VW, Mercedes), despite the reputational damage it may cause or simply because it's not financially viable to fix it.

If Koulibaly is considered too expensive or there are no alternatives (hopefully we have a couple lined up), then we will accept the risk of going into next season not necessarily being as perfect as we would have liked.
