The dippers have been linked with phillips as well so the worlds two best managers seem to think he has something and want to work with him? Hay has said Roca was coming in whether we kept Phillips or not as we need to strengthen our midfield anyway. We’re also looking at Tyler Adams from Leipzig allegedly.

I’ve never been impressed by him for England. Never thought, wow there’s a player who would do a great job in our midfield, whenever he’s played for England I’ve always thought he played it very safe.

Yeah, I think it's a matter of when, not if. I'm personally fairly ambivalent about it. I've never been overly impressed by him, but trust Pep and Txiki implicitly so obviously back their judgement ahead of mine!

I think he's got another developmental leap in him as he has all the raw materials to be a top CM/DM hybrid like Ferna was. He's also super aggressive and tenacious which I really like.

He's obviously splitting opinion though judging by this thread!

he`s always been a standout for leeds and i think we have to try and think of phillips in out team rather than the england team? The movement and options for passes etc in the city team are FAR greater than england.
