Kidding aside, I hope for Kalvin's sake he gets a loan option with Wolves an plays well enough that he finds his passion for football again and possibly talks himself into taking a pay cut to get transferred somewhere permanently during the summer window.

At the end of the day no one forced us to sign him to a six year deal, and if wants to see it through that is his decision. We all can judge, but he likely will never make this type of money again in his life, so I don't blame him at all if that is what he decides to do to provide for his family.
Hopefully the club learns a valuable lesson from this fiasco of a transfer.

Could we not swap Kalvin for Ruben Neves?... He's about 28 the same age as Fernandhino when we bought him...he's in Saudi but may have more of a chance of playing 3 or 4 games before the season ends whereas Kalvin seems to have no chance going on the last 3 seasons.

We should try for Neves on a bosman, we can talk to him now I think as he is out of contract in summer. Phillips doesn't want to leave England so definitely wouldn't go Saudi.

Since Christmas he has featured in a bar in Leeds with his old Bielsa teammates ( not pissed) and liked on insta by a noodle bar he frequented.

Other than that no updates on a player who together with Stones, Grealish earns a combined £700k per month. He currently makes Danny Mills look like Colin Bell levels of dedication.

I think the injury he had when we bought him genuinely fucked him. He's literally never had a good game since, for us or on various loan deals. He might not have been Zidane before that, but he was a decent player and performed well in a specific role for England. I think his shoulder is fucked
