he was indeed - truly terrible film, though I watched it several times just because he was in it!

Terrible Film?

Greatest football film ever made.

Bollox ..... Jimmy Grimble ???????

I must have missed Michael Caine, Max von Sydow, Sly Stallone and a Pele bicycle kick in that.

Jimmy Grimble was absolute horseshit and only appreciated by those City fans who think it acceptable to have a tug because Maria from Corrie is wearing a beanie hat.

Sly Stallone ..... now I know you are taking the piss ......... he's not an actor ...... he's the film-world version of William Roache.

And yet anyone who knows a bit about his early work would know that apart from acting, he wrote and directed Rocky, a cinematic masterpiece.

And the first Rambo is up there with some of the best of it's genre.

De Niro and Pacino have made some real turkeys too, especially in later years.

I saw him make his debut and i thought he was fantastic but when Big Mal came back, for some reason he didnt fit in..

He suffered injuries during that period ............. it was more John Bond that felt he didn't suit his style of play...... so he moved on to the States.

Can you stop using the phrase "acting" when referring to Stallone .... he's not an actor.

Oh and we all know what early work is in your collection ....... "Italian Stallion" by any chance.
